Starting November 30, The CW is the home for JERICHO.  We JERICHO fans must continue to kindly ask The CW for a message board community for our favorite show.

A TV series that was written off twice is on its way back to TV on The CW. There are no promises as to what will happen when the JERICHO episodes are done airing.  But as we all know by now..

With JERICHO, the impossible IS possible !!!

Fans, spread the word far and wide and please do so positively and politely.

JERICHO is back on TV on The CW !!

Once more Jericho is returning to network television !!!

This time The CW has called in Jericho to help with its Sunday lineup.

With the message boards down on the Jericho/CBS site, its up to the fans to spread the word far and wide !!!

The announcement was made today by CW Chief Operating Officer John Maatta:

November 20, 2008

Dear Affiliate:

We are now two and a half months into our new season and some terrific progress has been made.

Our strategy this year was to focus on Monday-Friday, particularly the early part of the week. Clearly that strategy has worked, as we are up in our key demographic of women 18-34 by 150% Monday and 41% on Tuesday. “Top Model” continues to shine Wednesdays, winning its time period on a regular basis, while “Smallville” and “Supernatural” continue to keep us in the game on Thursday versus tough competition. Additionally, we have improved our 18-49 demos by 78% Monday and 8% Monday-Thursday.

In the process, we are building a distinct and powerful brand of young-female skewing programming with new shows like “Gossip Girl” and “90210” complementing veteran hits “One Tree Hill” and “Top Model.”

As you know, to focus our efforts on the earlier part of the week, we entered into a time buy agreement with Media Rights Capital to program Sunday night. While this move has clearly paid dividends for the overall schedule, the results on Sunday night have been below expectations. The MRC shows are simply not working.

To that end, we have made a business and programming decision to protect our network and your local interests on Sunday for the remainder of the season.

The programs from Media Rights Capital will have their final airing this Sunday, November 23, 2008. Effective November 30, 2008, The CW will resume programming Sunday nights.

Our plan is to program Sunday with distinctive, first-rate programming that can quickly stabilize the night. We will work with you to promote and market this new night, with a lineup that will include quality scripted series and contemporary theatrical titles. Here is the lineup:

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.: EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS/THE GAME
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.: THE DREW CAREY SHOW
7:00 – 8:00 p.m.: JERICHO
8:00 – 10:00 p.m.: MOVIE

Our Affiliate Relations and Affiliate Marketing teams will be in immediate touch with your personnel regarding this important schedule change.

We will continue to work diligently and find success via the best means possible and move quickly to shore up troubled timeslots. We will continue to invest in new programming that will evolve into valued primetime assets for you, our affiliates, and our parent companies, CBS and Warner Bros.

We appreciate the partnership we have with you, our affiliates, and we will continue to work closely to take our success to the next level.

Sincerely,

John D. Maatta

Enjoy this bit of good news right in time for the Holiday season !!!

Social Viewing Rooms

What a great way to watch episodes of our favorite series together and at the same time !!

CBS is really stepping up with its newest feature !!

Its so easy to go into a social viewing room and its fun !!

Of course, I saw an episode of Jericho and then I went to see an episode of How I Met Your Mother and I was able to interact with others who were watching the episodes at the same time, its great !!!

The CBS Social Viewing Rooms is now THE place to watch episodes of our favorite shows with fellow fans and at the same time, you can chat during the episode and share thoughts etc..

Thank you CBS !!!

A new season dawns...

As we continue to mourn the loss (temporarily) of JERICHO, the networks are presenting us with an array of potentially great shows !!

Eleventh Hour looks good for CBS, Fringe is fantastic on FOX, 90210 has potential on The CW  and more..

Nothing will compare to Jericho, but if you look hard enough, I am sure you will find a good scripted show for you to enjoy this coming season.

Of course the Jericho team is on shows, Loomer is working on Raising The Bar on TNT, Sprague Grayden is on Sons of Anarchy on FX and will be seen on 24 on FOX, Claire Carey will be seen on the series Crash on Starz, Michael Gaston will be on a pilot called Last of the Ninth for premium cable, Junction is working on Harper’s Island mid season on CBS and dont forget Carol Barbee, she has been hard at work on Swingtown and I am sure she is going to have another great series for us to enjoy soon !!!

Lets create a spot on the Jericho board, where we can put notices of our Jericho friends and their upcoming works.

There is a little radio show that talks prime time TV for the most part. We are on weekdays at 3pm PT, its called TV Talk.  Join us and talk about your returning shows and your new favorites.
