I love the way the season is going with Jack & Sam. Jack and Sam are testing the waters at the moment and I hope the writers continue in the same fashion and give us some really great Jack/Sam moments just like the elevator scene and then of course I want them to just dive right on in and finally give confirmation that they have opened their eyes and can see what's right in front of them !!

They're testing the waters again. Knowing that Samantha sees him with "a lot of potential", he shouldn't hestiate to dive in.

And, until Jack faces his flaws and continues with therapy and reunites with his children, Sam has to be very careful. Not the time to get involved with someone with so much baggage when you have a baby to consicer. Sam has to take it very slowly. And, Jack has to keep a distance.IMO

Fictional charaters aren't immune from being inperfect and flawed. People don't change, and sometimes we just have to accept the person for who they are. I believe she understands Jack's personal turmoil, and she'd be there to provide him support, comfort and most of all, love!

I think you're right but I also think that the fact that they are not already in a full blown relationship after Jack's speech to her at the end of Satellites perhaps shows that they are taking it slow. Jack is still in therapy to try and resolve his problems. His children are a long way a way (taken away by Maria who told him she didn't want him in her life) so that will take time and compromise on both sides.I don't think Jack should put his personal life on hold until he resolves his issues because Sam could be a good support for him.

I agree somewhat. If Sam loves him, she will persuade him to get help. From what we know right now, he is not seing Dr. Bryson because she told him to come back when he knew why he was seeing her. Sam could be the only one that can convince him. We may be seeing some of the 'old Jack' coming back, but he is still in deep trouble and in denial.

I presume he is still receiving therapy as he told Medina in True/False that he already had a shrink. We don't need to be seeing him going to the sessions for him to be attending. That was my interpretation anyway.

Well, *the* pic is out in the TV Guide. Looks like Jack and Sam will be back on (and then they can concentrate on the other characters and *everyone* will be happy) -don't know how they're going to pull it off (so to speak) if Jack's back in command, but I can't wait to find out!

And what a great picture it is. Never has such a grainy picture evoked so much emotion and excitement I can't wait to see it in the "flesh". Sail on the J/S ship.
